The women's first team play in the YORB Women's Federation League which consists of teams from Manawatu, Taranaki and Whanganui. They also compete in the Lotto Federation Cup.

WAFC took their first women's team to the Napier U19 Tournament in 2024 giving their young players a great experience against the best young teams in the country.
